Post-Doctoral Researcher Positions in Urban Traffic Analytics

The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi is inviting applications for two fully funded postdoctoral researcher positions in the area of Traffic Flow Theory and Applications. The transportation research group led by Dr. Saif Jabari is currently conducting research in the areas of uncertainty quantification, traffic data analysis, and the development of real-time urban traffic network analytics. Successful candidates are expected to contribute to this research program, forge and maintain productive collaborations with faculty and industry leaders, and partake in activities that are geared towards showcasing the group's research.

Candidates must have completed or are close to completing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Ph.D. holders with a strong publication record, a background in uncertainty quantification and/or machine learning are particularly encouraged to apply. The terms of employment are competitive and include relocation, housing and educational subsidies for children.
